Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use HeartMatch. You may hold only one account.

You may not use the service if you have previously been removed from it, or if doing so would breach any law that applies to you.

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account and for keeping your password confidential. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

The information on your profile must be truthful and must be about you. Impersonating another person, or using photos you do not have the right to use, is grounds for removal.

Treat other members with respect. Harassment, hate speech, threats, and sexually explicit content sent without consent are not permitted.

Do not use the service to solicit money, advertise, recruit, distribute malware, or collect other members' information. Do not use automated tools to access, scrape or interact with the service.

Report anything that breaks these rules using the report control on a profile or message. Our moderation team reviews every report.

The Free plan is available at no cost. Premium and VIP are recurring subscriptions billed monthly in advance at the price shown at checkout.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; your paid features stay active until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before the change affects you.

We verify photos and review reports, but we do not conduct criminal background checks and we cannot guarantee that any member is who they claim to be.

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members. Meet in public for a first date, tell someone where you are going, and never send money to someone you have met online.

You keep ownership of the photos and text you upload. You grant us a licence to host, display and distribute that content as needed to operate the service.

We may remove content that breaks these terms, and may suspend or close accounts that repeatedly do so.

You can close your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, or where we are required to by law.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including limitation of liability and dispute resolution — continue to apply after your account closes.

The service is provided on an 'as is' basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will result in a match or a relationship.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

We may update these terms. If the change is material, we will give you notice by email and in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated terms.
